Is it possible to see a person’s birthday on Snapchat?
The good news is that if you’re a frequent Snapchat user who forgets big birthdays, you can access this information from within Snapchat. It only takes a few seconds to do so, according to the company’s guidelines. Open the Snapchat app, tap the bottom navigation bar’s ‘Chat’ button, tap a buddy in the chat list, tap the rocket icon, tap ‘Minis,’ and then tap ‘Birthdays.’ Snapchat then displays a complete list of forthcoming friends’ birthdays in chronological order. The friend whose birthday is approaching first gets highlighted at the top of the Birthdays page. If it’s someone’s birthday, it’ll be highlighted with the option to send them a birthday snap. Users can see other future birthdays, birthdays that friends have just celebrated, and a countdown to their own birthday as they move through the Birthdays tab.
When did Snapchat start allowing users to create astrological profiles?
Snapchat offers a feature that few other social networking apps have: it allows you to build an astrological profile. In November 2020, the firm introduced the tool as a method for customers to share their horoscopes with their friends on the app. It’s quite simple to create an astrological profile on Snapchat, but there are a few things to consider before getting started.
The sun, moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, and Uranus are among the 10 cosmic bodies covered by Snapchat’s astrological profiles. It comes with a ‘Friendship Compatibility Story,’ which purports to determine a user’s astrological compatibility with a friend. It also comes with a set of Snaps that cover five different aspects: attraction, intensity, tension, support, and harmony.
Why isn’t astrology available on Snapchat?
If your astrological profile isn’t visible on Snapchat, it’s most likely because you haven’t set it up yet.
To view it, you’ll need the most recent version of the app, so make sure there aren’t any updates you need to complete first:
- Open Snapchat and tap the profile button in the top left corner to access your profile.
- Tap the purple zodiac sumbol beneath your name.
- You’ll be prompted to enter information about your birthplace and time; once you’ve entered the correct information, click ‘Complete.’
- Simply tap the zodiac one more to view your astrological profile. You can then read it by swiping left to right, or swipe up to learn more about different parts of your astrological profile.
- Grimace: This one’s a tad devious. It signifies you have a best friend in common with someone. As a result, their best friend is the same as yours.
- Smile: This indicates that the individual is one of your most often messaged Snapchat contacts. They aren’t, however, your best friend.
- Sunglasses: If you see sunglasses next to a person’s name, you have a close Snapchat friend in common with them. It usually signifies you’re running with the same group of friends.
- Smirk: This is a one-way relationship in which you are the taker. This person sends you enough snaps to make you one of their closest pals, but you don’t reciprocate.
- Fire: Ah, the famed “Snapstreak,” which, according to Snapchat, “appears next to the numbers of days that you and a friend have snapped each other.” “If you don’t send a Snap within 24 hours, both you and your friend will lose their Snapstreaks.”
- Hourglass: You’re going to lose a “Snapstreak” with someone, and this is a warning.
- Baby: Congratulations, you’ve just added this person to your Snapchat friends list.
- Birthday Cake: On Snapchat, it’s this person’s birthday.
