The Part of Fortune is a symbol of prosperity in the world and is also linked to physical well-being. It might reveal anything about the vocation or job.
The interpretation of this Arabic part must take into account the state and placement of the Part of Fortune’s ruling planet, which is the natural ruler of the sign in which it is located.
Success and prosperity in the world are connected to the Part of Fortune. Its sign and house placement both imply innate talents and life areas as well as attributes that come naturally.
In terms of longitude, the Part of Fortune is located exactly where the Moon is located in relation to the Sun. The Part of Fortune will be located close to the Ascendant, for instance, if the Sun and Moon are in a conjunction in the natal chart. The Part of Fortune will also be near to the Descendant if the Sun and Moon are in opposition in the natal chart (opposite the Ascendant).
It’s noteworthy to notice that the Arabic part, or Part of Spirit, represents the opposite or reverse topic of spiritual well-being and is computed in the opposite way.

How can I locate the portion of my fortune in my chart?
The Fortune’s Share Position is a symbol of success in one’s life. In classical astrology, the part of fortune is computed by the crossing lines of our top three placements in the birth chart – the sun, moon, and rising sign.
What in the natal chart represents wealth?
After studying the birth chart, the wealth indicators become quite clear and easy to understand. The second, ninth, tenth, and eleventh houses are the main houses that relate to wealth. The second house represents acquired riches in the form of savings, bank balances, and inherited wealth.
Describe Pars Fortuna.
The phrase “Pars Fortuna” in astrology refers to a mathematical zodiacal point that is determined by the longitudinal locations of the Sun, Moon, and Ascendant (Rising sign) in a person’s natal chart. It represents a horoscopic chart point that is particularly advantageous.
What is the 11th house’s portion of fortune?
If Part of Fortune is in your eleventh house in your birth chart, you have a strong sense of altruism that you must put into action by thinking of something imaginative to do for others.
You are imaginative and creative with a vision for everything that is fresh and unusual while Fortune is in the 11th house. Visions that support the advancement of humanity are linked to the Part of Fortune. You are aware of the ultimate purpose of man and the potentials that humanity should explore thanks to this part of fortune.
You are self-reliant. You may keep your focus on the present while living in the past, which might help you break free from stressful or repetitive situations. Your high level of energy can make you quite restless. Additionally, it gives you the impression that, in order to feel good about yourself, you need be doing or making something else with your life.
The fifth house is the opposite house because your Part of Fortune is in the 11th house of your birth chart. You experience the force of human creativity more intensely thanks to the fifth house. However, you shouldn’t personally associate yourself with any concept, undertaking, or connection. You must have the ability to channel it impersonally by separating yourself from the work you put into completing tasks.
This aids in organizing people for the good of all. You demonstrate how shared plans or initiatives give others the essential assurance so that tasks are completed with the highest possible degree of harmony and in an environment of mutual trust and support.
People who share your opinions gravitate toward you. You are constantly in contact with those who give your initiatives character and life. You have the good fortune to come into contact with some very gifted and bright individuals who will constantly assist you in your search, motivate you, and increase your wisdom and open-mindedness. You get amazing creative inspiration when you enjoy being with other people.

You don’t feel restricted by societal norms, but you feel free to question the customs that the majority of people follow. You are not prevented from doing what you want by them.
In spite of everything, your Part of Fortune in the 11th house delivers you a level of fulfillment that is well above average, not only because it gives you a lot of freedom and vision but also because it makes you a little bit quirky. Perhaps you do not fit into the typical or average realities of society.
You will experience immense satisfaction knowing that everyone finds the best environment for their uniqueness and that mankind has its rightful position in the world. This can be developed with a wide range of individuals that have very distinct and unfettered personality.
Your fulfillment will result from accepting responsibility for realizing your goals and accomplishing the task of serving as a conduit for humanity’s true growth toward global freedom.
How do you become well-known in astrology?
Fame is viewed via the 10th house as well as the 1st, 5th, and 9th houses, per Vedic astrology and early maha rishis. Any planet with a favorable position in the 10th house has the power to give a person enormous fame. As the major residence for renown, the tenth house.
Which astrological house represents wealth?
The 11th bhava and the lord of the second house, or bhava counted from the lagna (birth ascendant), are concerned with acquiring and accumulating money, according to the Parasari School of Hindu astrology. Along with these two bhavas, there are two additional bhavas that should be taken into consideration: the fifth and ninth bhavas, which are known as Lakshmi’s abodes and assure wealth and prosperity through their connections with their respective lords. The strongest sign of riches is a planet that simultaneously owns the 2nd and the 11th bhavas, followed in order by planets that own the 5th or the 9th. Planets that concurrently own two wealth-giving bhavas become the primary indicators of money. Wealth is determined by the lord of the second, and according to Dhana yogas, income is to be judged from the eleventh, gains from speculation from the fifth, and sudden, unforeseen riches from the ninth bhava. According to Hindu astrology, the second house is the house of accumulated wealth, and the eleventh house is the house of gains. These lords, along with the lords of the fifth and ninth houses, produce powerful Dhana yogas, which, if they are unblemished and formed by benefic planets, are expected to bring about a lot of wealth. Dhana yogas are brought about by the lords of the first, second, fifth, ninth, and eleventh bhavas associating with one another, but more profound effects are only observed when the aforementioned yogas coincide with the lagna.
What in astrology is the millionaire aspect?
The lovely trine between Mars and Jupiter is another one of my “profit-making indications.” It’s a clear sign that you’ll always generate more money than you can spend when these two planets align favorably in your chat. This has proven to be true for me. Even when I was having financial difficulties, I always came out ahead.
Jupiter and Venus are both in my 12th House of Spirituality. These two good planets are money planets, and some people could believe that because they are concealed in the 12th house, I won’t ever be able to realize my financial goals. Actually, the reverse is true.
In the charts of the wealthy, the planet Neptune and its matching 12th House of Spirituality are notoriously active. There is merit in having complete confidence in your capacity to amass wealth. You have that faith in spades if your 12th house and/or Neptune are strong.
Neptune in the 8th house of my chart is impacted by both of my 12th house planets. Jupiter forms a square, and Venus forms a trine. By the way, a Jupiter-Neptune aspect is called the “millionaire’s aspect.” It doesn’t matter how these planets interact with one another in your chart. Potential exists as long as there is contact. Congratulations! You have the “billionaire’s aspect” if your chart shows a contact between Jupiter and Pluto, as Bill Gates’ does. I’m content with the millionaire indicators, and I don’t want to start getting stingy just yet!

Free will still plays a role
Yes, it’s amusing to consider how it seems like I have the horoscope of a wealthy person. However, in order to activate your natal promise and realize all of your potential, you must use your free will. In addition, you need the proper transits and progressions to bring about any horoscope promise, whether it be for prosperity, a move, a divorce, or a marriage.
Which planet is associated with finance?
Have you ever pondered what makes billionaires tick? So, becoming wealthy is not an accident. To become affluent, a number of things must come together. The Moon must be examined out of all the planets in order to determine a person’s wealth quotient. The moon represents our thoughts, feelings, attitudes, and perceptions. It represents how outside factors affect our thinking, which then influence how we make decisions. That explains the various “rags to riches” tales we encounter. The mind is trained in such a way that one may find opportunity in every circumstance. This “rich” way of thinking enables one to manufacture their own “luck,” which is a major game-changer.
It is impossible to generalize about planets to explain the influx of wealth. Based on a person’s birth chart, any planet can play the part of a wealth-giver. Similarly, any planet has the potential to deplete resources. However, Venus would be the best choice if we had to choose another planet to determine a native’s financial standing after the Moon. Venus, which rules the second house of riches in the natural zodiac, is a symbol of wealth or money. Venus also stands for our personal passions, which will serve as a channel for attracting financial support. Therefore, understanding where your riches will come from will much depend on your passion in life, which may be determined by examining Venus’s natal position and its relationships to other planets in your horoscope.
It could be helpful to explain that Mercury represents both business and business savvy at this point. To allow one to become wealthy through business, it must be connected to houses that grant wealth. On the other side, it is advised to continue with your employment if Saturn is more dominant in your chart than Mercury because riches will come through providing services.
Wealth-giving houses exist in addition to planets, and any planet associated with them turns into a wealth-giver. The second (possession), sixth (effort), tenth (status), and eleventh (gains) houses are such examples. The “arth,” or financial, element of our existence is represented by these houses. Any yogas involving these houses improve a birth chart’s financial stability and raise one’s financial standing while they are active. These combinations are shared by all billionaires. Do they appear on your chart?

My Part of Fortune: What Does It Mean?
Assume a person’s Ascendant is in 20 Virgo, Moon is in 4 Aries, and Sun is in 17 Aquarius. A 20 Virgo ascendant corresponds to a 20 Pisces descendant. We utilize the night birth formula because this is a night birth and the Sun is between the Ascendant and the Descendant.
Since this number exceeds 360, we deduct 360 from the total. 483 – 360 = 123. Leo is the third part of fortune.
The chart would be a day birth and we would apply the Day formula if the Sun were at 9 Cancer with this Ascendant and Moon.
We don’t need to take any further action as this is less than 360. Our Part of Fortune is 15 Gemini as a result.
The majority of contemporary authorities have employed the day formula for night births, which is why most people who are born at night have been allocated the incorrect Part of Fortune! This is because Ptolemy, a famous ancient authority, seemed to favor using the day formula for all charts. Our updated translation of Ptolemy and the writings of his early commentators have led us to a reasonable conclusion that he did not mean this. The majority of other ancient authors, as well as the medieval astrologers, recommended utilizing the day formula for daybirths and the night formula for nightbirths. And these people were aware of how to use the Fortune Part.
In order to wrap up this note, allow me to briefly explain what the Part of Fortune is. The fundamental way that a person is physically related to the outside world is referred to as the Part of Fortune. It is one of the indicators of the body and health, the main indicator of prosperity, and the main indicator of career in terms of prosperity. But how you use it might surprise you a little bit. One of Project Hindsight’s most significant discoveries to date is this. I’ll elaborate on that in my next note.
The Part of Fortune is the key to understanding the native’s success and career, as I explained in the first part of this series of notes where I also provided the method for calculating it. I’ll delve deeper into its significance and discuss how the Greeks believed it should be used in this part.
As I’ve already stated, the Part of Fortune is more than just a basic predictor of prosperity. Only the Midheaven outside of these three is as essential as it is since it is made out of the longitudes of the Sun, Moon, and Ascendant, which makes it composed out of the three most important positions in the chart. The Part of Fortune is frequently viewed as a minor feature in the chart in modern astrology, although this was not the case in ancient astrology.
The Ascendant is the main predictor of the physical body and health in traditional astrology. The Moon is a crucial secondary indicator of the body as well. However, there is a distinction between them. The Ascendant was thought to represent the body at its most tangible, bodily level. The Moon represented the living component of the body, or rather the soul, which had taken on a human body. The Sun and both of them make up the Part of Fortune, which also represents the native’s physical, living body and its interactions with the outside physical and social environment. This is what gives it the ability to represent prosperity. If the native’s Part of Fortune is in good shape, he or she will have a supportive and prosperous relationship with the physical and social environment in which they reside. The native finds it more difficult to interact with the world that supports them if their Part of Fortune is damaged. The connections between the Part of Fortune and health are comparable.
However, it is important to keep in mind that neither of these significations, not even the Part of Fortune, can be interpreted as a complete indicator of any aspect of life. In addition to the Moon and its ruler, one must also consider the Ascendant and its ruler. Additionally, the sixth and eighth houses, which are likewise strong markers of health and death, respectively. The second house, the tenth house, and their rulers should also be considered when assessing material wealth.
Despite this, the Part of Fortune is well-positioned when benefic or honorable planets are in or aspect the Part of Fortune, or when these planets are in the same sign as it (the significance of this will become clear later).
Additionally, benefic signs were supposed to help the Part of Fortune, and any point in a chart is aided by being in a sign ruled by a dignified planet.
If the Part of Fortune is in a sign with malefics, especially if they are weak, this placement is not ideal. Malefic conjunctions, oppositions, and squares are likewise not thought to be especially favorable. As a contemporary astrologer, I would have to state that such signs do not necessarily imply hardship or poor health, but rather that the native will need to put in more effort or have fewer options for achieving success. However, even with those two factors in mind, the outcomes can still be highly favorable.
The Part of Fortune is not only a point, like the planets or the nodes, as my final observation for this article. A home system has just begun. The first house of the Fortuna system is the sign of the Part of Fortune, and it spans from 0 degrees to 30 degrees of the sign in which the Part is situated. The range of the Fortuna system’s other houses, meanwhile, is 0 to 30 degrees in each of their respective signs. I’ll go into more detail about what the ancients recommended doing with these houses in the following installment.
a planet that effortlessly generates outcomes that are commonly viewed as nice or “excellent.” Only time will tell if these outcomes are truly advantageous for the native. Undoubtedly, benefics tend to accomplish goals more readily than malefics in the majority of circumstances (see next entry). Venus, Jupiter, the Sun through trine or sextile aspects, as well as any planet with a favorable aspect and dignity, are the natural benefics (see note).
a planet that struggles to deliver outcomes that are deemed “good.” Malefics are not necessarily “bad” in general; rather, they typically demand more thought, consciousness, and life management ability than do benefics. Mars and Saturn, the two principal malefics, are actually essential for developing power and character. But when either of these is used carelessly, the outcomes are not favorable. Only through conjunction are Mars, Saturn, and the Sun considered the natural malefics.
In the end, a planet’s ability to be benefic or malefic is determined by a variety of variables. Other factors in the chart can change planets that are naturally one or the other into their opposite. You can’t just assume that when Venus and Jupiter are involved, wonderful things will happen, and when Saturn and Mars are involved, awful things will happen. Since this is an outdated categorization, it should be used with caution. Ultimately, I think Ptolemy’s explanation of the terminology is the best. Ptolemy defined a benefic planet as one whose natural influence promotes moderation and equilibrium. A planet is said to be malefic if its natural influence results in imbalance and extremes.
There are numerous ways to dignify (make stronger) and debilitate (make weaker) planets. I primarily use signs to describe dignity and debility in this piece. When planets are exalted or in signs they rule, they are dignified. When they are in symptoms that are opposing these, they are incapacitated. These signs can be found in any standard astrology textbook for beginners. There are additional dignity and disability. Visit Whitford Press’s Essential Dignities by Lee Lehman.
