Neowise was called after a near-Earth object (NEO) and the WISE telescope (Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer) through which it was detected. However, the name symbolizes “fresh wisdom” to me. Its message, in my opinion, is one of hope, which is urgently needed in these extremely poisonous times. Comets have been dubbed “broom stars” by Chinese astrologers because they are thought to sweep the planet’s energy clean and remove the planet’s bad energy. That’s exactly what we need!
