According to the “BIORHYTHM THEORY,” human lives proceed in regular undulations including three distinct cycles: (A) Physical examination – 23 days Emotional (B) – 28 days (C) Intuitive – 33 days

What exactly does your biorhythm imply?
Biorhythm is defined as a rhythmic biological process or function (such as sleep behavior) that is innately determined, as well as the internal mechanism that determines such a process or function.
What methods do you use to keep track of your biorhythms?
Sigmund Freud and his associates Dr Wilhelm Fliess and psychologist Dr Hermann Swoboda are credited with developing the science of biorhythms. They hypothesized that biorhythms could predict our life’s highs and lows depending on our birth date. A 23-day physical cycle, a 28-day emotional cycle, and a 33-day intellectual cycle make up the Biorhythms.
Cycle Calculation
To calculate the three cycles, you’ll need two pieces of information: your birth date and the start date. The following formulae are used to determine each cycle as a sine wave:
- Physical = (2t / 23) sin
- Emotional = (2t / 28) sin
- INTELLECTUAL = SIN (TWENTY-THIRTY-THIRTY-TH
The three sine waves calculated are then placed on a graph, as seen in the “Biorhythms” diagram below.
Interpretation of the cycles
The three sine waves for the cycles based on the birth date for 30 days are depicted in the picture below, with the one on the X-axis (midline) representing the provided start date.
When the sine wave of a cycle is above the graph’s midline (x-axis), we may experience a “High” in that cycle; for example, if the intellectual cycle is above the midline (x-axis), your mental processes may be sharper, concentration easier, and you may have a lot of ideas. When the sine wave of a cycle falls below the graph’s midline, we may experience a “Low” in that cycle, such as the Physical cycle, and feel weak and listless. In the picture above, the three cycles for the 7 (on the midline) are Emotion and Intellectual are both High, while Physical is Low.
As the Physical sine wave crosses the midline in the picture above, the 9 (on the midline) appears to be a significant moment physiologically. When a sine wave crosses the midline, it marks a critical point in the related rhythm, such as the Emotional cycle, and you may experience irritability, sadness, and emotional outbursts. This is a vital point when two sine waves cross the midline at the same time.
Biorhythms – Fact or Fiction?
Quigley (1981) investigated the putative link between biorhythms and athletic performance. The study looked at all world record-breaking male athletes in track and field sports from 1913 to 1977, and found evidence to support biorhythms in specific circumstances. The biorhythms idea is not valid, according to a research conducted by Hines (1998), which looked over 134 biorhythm studies.

What is a biorhythm, and how does one know what it is?
Do you consult your horoscope on a regular basis? Have you ever gone to a fortune teller? These activities are entertaining, but they are not scientific. In truth, while they appear to have some scientific undertones, they lack the objective, rigorous investigation and examination necessary by disciplines like physics, chemistry, and biology; thus, despite a literal translation of “pseudoscience” is “false science,” they have earned the moniker pseudoscience.
Biorhythms, a sort of pseudoscience that dates back to the 19th century and gained popularity in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. Biorhythms are founded on the concept that a person’s life follows a cycle with peaks and valleys. People can analyze and graph their cycles using mathematical methods, determining good days (peaks) and bad days (troughs).
The physical, emotional, and intellectual cycles can all be split down into biorhythms. Some even investigate the spiritual, aesthetic, and intuitive cycles (although we will only focus on the main three).
The physical cycle lasts 23 days and emphasizes endurance, health, and strength. The emotional cycle is 28 days long and has to do with creativity, emotions, and intuition. Finally, the intellectual cycle is related with thinking, judgment, and focus and lasts 33 days.
Is it true that biorhythms are effective?
The biorhythm theory is the pseudoscientific belief that rhythmic cycles with periods of exactly 23, 28, and 33 days, typically a 23-day physical cycle, a 28-day emotional cycle, and a 33-day intellectual cycle, have a substantial impact on our daily life. Wilhelm Fliess invented the concept in the late 1800s, and it became popular in the United States in the late 1970s. The proposal has been independently tested, and no evidence of its validity has been discovered.
What does it mean to have a bad biorhythm?
The cycle’s positive periods imply high ability days, while its negative periods suggest poor ability days. Days when the temperature is near zero are considered critical. It is stated that the human body has three distinct rhythms that follow a set cycle.
What is the best way to read a biorhythm chart?
These graphs will display your biorhythms over the course of a day, a week, two weeks, 28 days, or longer. Three different colored lines will be visible on the graph. A red line, for example, will represent your physical cycle, a green line will reveal your emotional cycle, and a blue line will reveal your general mental health.
The biorhythm theory, which was first proposed in Switzerland, is based on the idea that the human body runs in three cycles that repeat themselves constantly.
The physical cycle lasts 23 days; the sensitive (or emotional) cycle lasts 28 days; and the intellectual cycle lasts 30 days (33 days). Resistance to disease, strength, coordination, speed, and physiology are all influenced by physical rhythm. Creativity, sensitivity, mental health, and general mood are all influenced by emotional rhythm. Memory, attentiveness, logical, and analytical functions are all affected intellectually. Each cycle begins with a neutral baseline, or zero point, at birth. It then starts to climb in a positive phase, when the energy and talents linked with each cycle are at their peak. The cycle climbs gradually to a peak throughout the first half of its lifespan, then begins to decrease.
The notion of biorhythm, first discovered by European scientists in the 1900s, has been used to reduce road traffic accidents in Switzerland and Japan.
It’s thought that drivers are more likely to have an accident on ‘critical’ days in their physical, emotional, or cognitive biorhythm cycles.
When two or more important days fall on the same day, the risk increases.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department published a research in 1971 that found that more than 80% of traffic collisions reported in 1970 occurred on the driver’s critical day.

People believe in biorhythms for a variety of reasons.
BioRhythm is an effective tool for demonstrating what the future holds for users and how they may embrace more. Biorhythms are similar to horoscopes in that they anticipate a person’s daily potential as well as social compatibility.
Biorhythm proponents think that three arms of periodic biological cycles touch everyone, affecting their physical, emotional, and cognitive capabilities. Each cycle begins at birth and lasts for a specific number of days before repeating.
Users may study, analyse, and even anticipate the cycles as they fluctuate in a sine wave pattern on a graph. When the cycle crosses the zero line on the graph, for example, they are “critical days,” when a user may be at increased danger. It also signifies a greater amount of risk.
BioRhythm is a basic application that looks like a computer but does not have a printer reading. Users can make up to nine separate profiles, each with their own name, birth date, and predicted date. The program comes with an easy-to-read graph that shows color-coded biorhythm waves for the selected day.
Users can also request a more detailed reading, which will display the exact statistics for the three cycles as well as basic day-to-day guidance. A user might be told to carry a cell phone or learn something new, for example. Overall, the BioRhythm software is a tried and true way for determining the user’s life path since birth.
