The meaning of your North Node being in Libra is all about finding balance without losing oneself (or your South Node, which is in Aries). While it may take some getting used to, your North Node is always there for you, quietly working in your favor and teaching you some of life’s most important lessons.

What does my North Node mean?
According to intuitive astrologer and healer Rachel Lang, the north node represents your real north or North Star, as its name implies. “It’s the point in your life where you’ll continue to follow your destiny. You’ll feel more fulfilled and purposeful if you focus your attention on following the north node’s pathbut it’s not simple. It’s the time where you step out of your comfort zone “she explains.
The point in the sky where the moon’s orbit crosses with the northern ecliptic hemisphere at the moment of your birth is known as this node. “It’s not apparent like other astrological points, but that doesn’t mean it’s not important,” explains Lang. So, for example, my north node is in Gemini, which suggests that my “mission” in life is to teach, learn, write, and propagate a particular message.
“You feel more fulfilled and meaningful when you focus your attention on following the path given by the north node.” Intuitive astrologer Rachel Lang
Of all, the journey to destiny has to begin somewhere, and Lang says your south node is the place to start. The south node is located exactly 180 degrees south of the north node and signifies the start of your karmic path. Lang explains, “It’s the familiarwhere we came from.” My south node is in Saggitarius, thus I come from a restless, yearning, and often estranged location, according to the moon.
What house is Libra North Node in?
You’re here to learn about relationships and compromise in this lifetime since your north node is in Libra or the 7th house. Relationships will serve as your greatest teachers and reflectors.
You didn’t learn these things in a previous existence as an Aries or first house South Node, therefore they’re foreign to you. You may have been too self-absorbed and preoccupied with your own survival in a previous life. Those same energetics were present when you entered this existence. Perhaps your upbringing instilled in you the belief that you couldn’t trust others or that you had to grow up quickly and handle everything on your own. There are many possible outcomes, but you’re here in this lifetime to experience personal connections and deep interactions that demand you to think beyond yourself. You’ll learn to put relationships first and make allowances for others’ sentiments. You’ll discover how to improve your interpersonal skills and be more friendly, gentle, and respectful of others. You’ve come to share your life with others through partnerships and personal friendships. You’ll come to appreciate the importance of shared experiences. Collaboration and partnership will teach you so much and keep your spirit in a state of ongoing development.
Your South Node in Aries, or the first house, brings you gifts. It is ruled by Mars, the god of battle. This provides you a powerful presence and ferocious strength. Even though it’s scary, you know how to go after what you want. You’re confident, outspoken, and a badass. You stand up for yourself, act, and get things done. You’re a fantastic advocate who also speaks up for others. By putting yourself first and prioritizing what you want, you do things that our culture may consider “selfish.” That sets a great example for others to follow, especially if they never put themselves first.
You’ll keep these Aries gifts even if you’re more intentional about embracing your Libra or 7th house NN. They simply take on a new, healthier appearance. For example, if your SN is out of balance, you can be a bulldozer, taking control of discussions and events without regard for others. Stepping into Libra energy will naturally bring those south node tendencies into harmony. You will not, however, lose your tenacity and bold spirit. You’ll bring it up in conversations. You already have a strong sense of self, and now you’ll learn to appreciate and share your life experiences with others. You’ll learn how to interact effectively with others, taking into account their feelings and needs while still remaining strong and courageous. Rather of losing yourself in a relationship or avoiding/sabotaging it entirely, you’ll develop a healthy interdependence. Your Aries SN desires will develop in ways that are even more gratifying and significant than they would be if you just kept in your comfort zone of doing things on your own if you prioritize the health of your relationships.
What does the North Node represent in astrology?
PSA: A major yet underappreciated astrological event is going to occur: The Nodes of Destiny will change signs on May 5. ICYDK, the Nodes of Destiny (also known as the Nodes of Fate, the Lunar Nodes, or, less dramatically, the North and South Nodes) are two mathematical points in the sky that reflect the Sun, Moon, and Earth’s relationship. The North Node in astrology represents the traits we need to acquire in order to progress, whereas the South Node represents the virtues that come naturally to us…and on which we may place too much reliance.
The Nodes change signs and go backward every one and a half years (yes, they’re “naturally retrograde”). When this happens, they tell us what we need to work on in our life over the next year and a half, as well as what we need to let go of. Basically, we’re being compelled by cosmic forces to abandon old viewpoints and adopt new ones.
The Nodes of Destiny will enter Gemini and Sagittarius on May 5 and will remain there until January 18, 2022. The North Node (which represents what we need to add to our lives) will be in Gemini, so we’ll need to focus our energies on intellectual growth, communication improvement, and letting go of fears. As the South Node moves into Sagittarius, we’ll have to let go of the need to be “correct” all of the time and focus on the details (rather than forgetting them when looking at the big picture). Because the Nodes work together, it’s critical to think about them both. Instead of giving too much emphasis to the future or the past, work to balance them out.
What does South Node in Libra mean?
Wow. Okay. This series begins with the north node of Aries. This north node affects a lot of my clients who were born in 1986 and 1987. Everyone with this nodal axis is not in this age group. It isn’t finished. This nodal axis will cause everyone’s nodes to express themselves differently.
First and foremost, the nodes are not simple. When you touch a section of the chart, it flinches. In the nodes, there is a lot of fear. Unless you’re dealing with concerns of fear and shortage, they don’t necessarily advise you where to go. They don’t provide you advice on how to succeed. That is not their purpose. The nodes are concerned with survival.
We’re not talking about travelling from the south to the north node when we talk about nodes. We’re not talking about evolution here. We’re discussing two points on the graph that deal with fear.
Assumptions about Aries north node/Libra south node
Many of the assumptions made about this nodal axis are based on the stereotype of the homemaker. It’s this belief that people with the Libra south node are shy little things who never speak up for themselves or live for themselves and need to get some independence in order to be free. This isn’t correct.
People born under the sign of Aries have a strong sense of independence and are often well-informed. They frequently have Jupiter or Aries as their ruling planet. Many of them were raised without much parental supervision. Many of them had to figure out how to exist on their own early on. This is not a group of people who are highly protected, as clichs about white middle-class women suggest. These are individuals that had to work things out on their own.
The combative aspect of Libra is lost in traditional delineations of this nodal axis. This occurs because Libra is frequently misunderstood since it is stereotyped according to gender standards. Gender is often how Aries north node and Libra south node people process a lot of their security, but gender appears different for everyone.
People with the Libra south node have a tendency to believe that they desire to win. This is due to the fact that people expect things to be competitive even when they aren’t. Sure, some cis straight women see winning as gaining the attention of an unavailable male, but this isn’t the case for everyone. The Libra south node must comprehend that the tactics of self-harm that capitalism has taught them are often methods of self-harm.
As you can see, Librans on the south node aren’t all kept housewives. People aren’t allowed to walk all over them. They can be in positions of authority while still feeling confined by the nodal axis, and they will chew you out. It’s not about conquering when it comes to healing.
Security Issues
In Libra, the south node foreshadows judgment. People born under the Libra south node are frequently taught that how they compare to others or how others perceive them says more about who they are than who they think they are. There are instances when a large number of siblings compete for the attention of their parents. Even when Libra south node tries valiantly to garner their attention, the parents are sometimes inaccessible.
The sensation of acceptance is something that the Libra south node craves, at times passionately. This is because the Libra south node has spent a long period feeling out of place. They are really vulnerable in this world. This is why the Libra south node is prone to scouring the globe for someone to save them.
Saviorism can take place in a variety of situations. Libra’s south node may be on the lookout for a business relationship, an institution, or a career. They are looking for something that looks to be validated by socially measured ways of judging a thing when they search for these items. Again, Librans with the south node feel out of place in some way. They believe that until they have something on their arm that camouflages them well enough to pass through society, no one will accept them.
People with the Libra south node do not feel normal because they are trapped in a mindset that believes competition is the only way to save them. They have the impression that they are being judged by a third party. They are terrified of being judged by their peers, as well as of being too noticeable. They are concerned that others would believe they are attempting to be more unique or superior than others.
The south node in Libra frequently suffers from impostor syndrome as a result of this. They frequently work in novel methods, which makes it difficult for them to persuade others to understand or validate what they’re doing. However, no amount of social approval will ever be enough to repair a Libra south node.
Fears
People with the North Node in Aries are afraid of being alone. This does not always have to do with gender roles, although it can. The true reason Aries south node people fear being alone is because they believe they are abnormal and that if they are cut off from society, they would drift away and become hopeless, “crazy” people.
People with the Aries north node are scared of their stigmas or the things that cause them to be stigmatized.
People born under the sign of Aries have an obsession with their north node. They’re artists, which implies they’re fascinated by strange things that no one else considers. Whatever it is, the Aries north node doesn’t want you to know about it. They’re preoccupied with the end of the world, hideous manga, and shipping routes. This is because the Aries north node wants you to like them, and they believe you would not like them if you knew what they desired.
It is difficult for Aries north node to be in a disagreement with someone because they believe that in order to win, they must alter the other person’s mind about something. Because there may have been a lot of repressed conflict in their home life, arguments are highly frustrating for Aries north node. As a result, the Aries north node has a secret desire for an end-all conflict that will end all conflicts regarding a single issuethey work diligently to prepare for this never-to-occur event, believing that if they can come out on top at the proper time, they would triumph. After that, everyone will be able to live in peace.
The problem is that the end of all fighting never arrives. No one wants to battle them, and the more you fight them, the deeper you both burrow into your own corners. No one’s mind is ever changed by fighting. Because they place so much emphasis on gaining security by winning the last confrontation, the Aries north node may be dissatisfied.
Healing and Growth
Many Aries north node Libra south node people thrive and grow after breakups, which I believe is the source of the widespread stereotype of the stuck partner who just wants to break free. However, it is not a relationship that binds Librans in the south node. Instead, it’s the belief that intensifying confrontation will result in (their) victory.
When Aries north node people realize that they don’t need others to justify their obsessions, they recover and grow. They don’t have to persuade anyone to change their minds. They don’t require that last battle with their boss, lover, or friend, which they occasionally fantasize about. They don’t need vengeance to feel comfortable expressing their rage.
The fact that Libra south node people are so excellent at conflict is frequently what keeps them caught in this cycle of fear. They usually win when they argue because they’re so skilled at looking at things from several perspectives. They’re incredibly skilled at fighting.
People born under the sign of Aries are attempting to figure out when to fight and when to back off. What makes this difficult is that persons with the Aries north node are often drawn to people who hold opposing viewpointsthose who are eager to fight with them in order to reproduce the winning-and-harmonizing dynamic. It’s difficult for Aries north node people to walk away from a confrontation that’s brewing, especially if the person they’re fighting is extremely hot. The Libra south nodes are trying to win over that individual.
Walking away from a conflict that they can win is what heals the Aries north node. They don’t grow when they win fights because the scarcity mentality fuels the same scarcity. They flourish when they take back control of their lives and cultivate their creativity and joy. They mature when they establish safety by deciding when to engage in conflict and when not to.
How important is North Node?
The North Node is the most important node in the network. This Node represents the future and what fate has in store for you, based on the lessons you’ve learned in the past so it’s only natural that the attributes connected with your North Node’s sign elicit some fear of the unknown in you!
What do North and South nodes mean?
The lunar nodes (also known as the Nodes of Fate or the Nodes of Destiny) are the locations in the sky where the Moon and the Sun meet. This occurs a few times a year, during which we encounter eclipses, an astrological occurrence. The nodes indicate which spiritual avenues we should pursue and which we should abandon, as well as the type of energy we are working with. The nodes transit through each axis during the duration of a year and a half (the nodes are always in two opposite signsfor example, if the North Node is in Leo, we will also be dealing with the South Node in Aquarius).
The Moon’s lunar nodes are separated into two categories in astrology: the North Node and the South Node. Both current life (the North Node) and your previous lifetimes convey a story of fate and destiny (the South Node). The lunar nodes change signs every year and a half. The various placements and signs in our horoscopes reveal our past and present fate. (If we accept our karmic teachings, the past will rule the future.) (I have goosebumps!)
Based on both our particular birth charts’ nodes and the transiting nodes that affect the collective as a whole, the nodes are also how we know what will happen to us during eclipses.
The North Node is known as Ratu (Dragon’s Head) and the South Node is known as Ketu (Dragon’s Tail) in Vedic astrology. To cut a long mythical narrative short, a demon desired immortality and deceived the gods into giving it to him, which enraged them because he was not in line for such powers. Their punishment was to grant him immortality, with both past (Ketu) and future (Rahu) aspects of himself always present. He couldn’t get away from himself or what he’d done.
What does the true node mean in astrology?
Have you ever hoped for someone to deliver you a success map? It might be a difficult topic to grasp at times. Everyone wants to be successful, but most people have no idea what it entails. Some people feel that becoming wealthy is the key to success, while others believe that falling in love and starting a family is the key to success. Some people believe that fame and attractiveness are prerequisites for success. The rest of the world may assume it’s all about attaining inner peace. If you’re not sure what success means to you, astrology’s interpretation of your north node could be the key.
Your north node, unlike the other aspects of your birth chart, is not a celestial body. During the time you were born, the moon’s orbit and the plane of the ecliptic converged at your north and south nodes. They convey the story of your soul’s journey through each of your previous lives. Consider this: your south node represents who you were in a previous life, while your north node represents who you were intended to be in this life.
If you look at the zodiac sign that corresponds to your north node, you’ll see all of the lovely and empowering attributes you should strive for. At first, it may not feel natural to you. However, there’s little doubt that by moving outside of your comfort zone and allowing your north node to lead the way, you’ll be able to reach your full potential. There is, in a sense, a road plan to success. It’s the hidden gem of your north node.

What is Chiron astrology?
Chiron is named after a centaur from Greek mythology who was known for his ability to teach and heal. Ironically, despite his wisdom and healing abilities, Chiron was unable to heal himself from the wound of a poison arrow, which caused him continuous anguish, earning him the epithet “wounded healer.” Chiron represents the profound causes of pain, sorrow, and injury in our lives, much as its namesake’s mythology suggests. It’s our weak spot, the part of us that’s wounded, sensitive, and exposed.
Chiron, on the other hand, isn’t simply about suffering. This minor planet also indicates our immense capacity to heal ourselves and others by channeling our own painful experiences into spiritual growth. Finally, in astrology, Chiron teaches us how to learn from our suffering and turn it into a source of strength. It teaches us that our deepest, most sensitive wounds can actually serve as a gateway to the most profound types of healing for ourselves and others. Having to deal with terrible situations and conquering them might make us more compassionate, which is exactly what Chiron is all about. It represents our ability to transform our suffering into strength.
