Is Luffy a Taurus or a Sagittarius?

Monkey D Luffy, the protagonist of One Piece, has had a long time to develop his character. To begin with, he’s dependable, patient, sensible, and steady. He can also be obstinate, unyielding, and arrogant. His Zodiac sign reflects all of these characteristics.

Luffy is a Taurus because he was born on May 5th. Taurus is a fixed astrological sign. The planet Venus rules it, and Earth is its element. Scorpios and Cancers are also quite compatible with Tauruses (like Nami). Here’s everything there is to know about Taurus and how it relates to the Straw Hat Pirates’ commander.

Is Sailor Venus a Libran or a Taurus?

Since its inception as a long-running original series in the 1990s and early 2000s, the program has spawned a number of original plays, video games, and limited-edition products. For many people, it was the first anime they ever watched as a kid, and their affection for it is still strong now. Each hero has a planet assigned to them, which helps to define their personality. However, when delving more into the program, we can see how their unique personalities are linked to their zodiac signs, not only the planet they are affiliated with.

Have you ever wondered which Sailor Moon character corresponds to your astrological sign?

Aries: Sailor Mars

Aries, as the first sign of the zodiac, aspires to be number one. They’re fearless, ambitious, and willing to go headfirst into the most difficult situations. As a result, it’s no wonder that Sailor Mars is the group’s Aries. Based on her prophetic forecasts from studying flames, Sailor Mars has a fierce temper and strong insight. She’s a warrior who acts first and asks questions afterwards, and she’s ready to defend her pals. Mars is also the ruler planet of the Aries zodiac, so it’s a fantastic match for her.

Taurus: Luna

Luna isn’t quite a sailor scout, but she’s still a vital member of the crew. Taurus, as an Earth sign, prioritizes security, comfort, and honesty above all else. Because of their guiding and loving character, they are sometimes referred to as the “mom” of a friend group. Luna is Usagi’s (Serena in the English dub) pet cat who also serves as a Sailor Scouts advisor. She’s the one that brings the Guardians together in the first place, and she’s not one to keep her voice when the girls goof up. Luna has been a fantastic tutor throughout the series, as any good Taurus would be.

Gemini: Chibi Moon

Geminis are especially well-suited to Chibi Moon’s disposition since they are playful, intellectually curious, and social butterflies. The Sailor Moon R story arc introduces us to this adorable character. As the time-traveling offspring of Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion, it seems only natural that this tiny character should be born under the sign of the twins. Geminis are known for their sharp tongues and quick wits, which explains why Chibi Moon teases Usagi so often throughout the program.

Cancer: Sailor Moon

Of course, Sailor Moon would be a Cancer, the zodiac’s most emotional sign. Cancers are protective, loyal, and caring, yet they may also be grumpy and vengeful. The fact that Usagi Tsukino is a Cancer in the show has previously been proven, yet we could have guessed without being told. She enjoys napping and uses sobbing as a superpower, and she frequently wins confrontations by channeling her sensitive side. Usagi is a natural romantic, as evidenced by her proclivity for falling in love. While she appears to be a weakling in comparison to her peers, she is a formidable opponent.

Leo: Tuxedo Mask

Tuxedo Mask is difficult to put because he doesn’t get as much screen time as the other characters. When we do see him, he’s always the one who saves the day at the last possible moment. He, like Leo, is secretive and enjoys keeping the Sailor Guardians wondering about his next move. Leos are fiery, warm, and affectionate, with a flare for the dramatic. Tuxedo Mask has a knack for making an impression wherever he goes. Expect him to make a scene solely for the sake of theatrics, even if there’s no real danger.

Virgo: Sailor Mercury

This Earth sign is a perfectionist at heart, known for being rational, realistic, and systematic in their approach to life. From her battle style to her schoolwork, Sailor Mercury epitomizes Virgo. Sailor Mercury, the group’s technical expert, always examines the opponent before making a move. She is a competitive student in school, graduating at the top of her class and assisting her friends in passing their classes. Virgos, like Sailor Mercury, are quick-witted and have a keen eye for detail.

Libra: Sailor Venus

Libra is the zodiac sign of Sailor V, the Guardian of Love and Justice. Venus, the planet of love and beauty, is the ruler of Libras. These signs are attractive, lovely, and well-balanced. Sailor V was the first of the Sailor Senshi to transform, and she was the first of the Sailor Senshi to do so. She was pleasant and lovely, and she did everything she could to defeat the forces of evil. In a balanced world, they’re most at ease, making Sailor Venus one of the top crime fighters.

Scorpio: Sailor Pluto

Sailor Pluto is the space-time door’s protector, and her abilities are tied to space and darkness. She’s as enigmatic as her abilities, and she’s a good match for the Scorpio zodiac sign. Scorpios are linked to death and transformations, and because Pluto is their ruling planet, they are very adept at coping with painful life transitions. Due to their passionate character, these indicators are readily misread, but they’re deeply emotional and want companionship. Despite spending much of her time alone, she becomes Hotaru Tomoe’s adopted mother.

Sagittarius: Sailor Jupiter

Sagittarians are known for their independence. They’re upbeat and outgoing, but they become bored easily and avoid committing. The girls are intimidated by Sailor Jupiter’s confrontational, independent attitude when we first meet her. With her easygoing demeanor, she was able to rapidly make friends with the females. Sailor Jupiter is a master of thunder who enjoys taking on new challenges.

Capricorn: Sailor Saturn

Another enigmatic figure Of all the Sailor Senshi, Sailor Saturn is the most powerful. She is the Guardian of Destruction, and she has the ability to wipe out entire solar systems and reset planetary history with ease. Her personality is extremely similar to that of a Capricorn. Capricorns are ambitious and have lofty goals, yet their encompassing nature can occasionally harm others unwittingly. The ram, like Sailor Saturn in the show, goes through life with a serious purpose and ambition.

Aquarius: Sailor Uranus

Sailor Uranus is a true independent who does not follow anyone’s rules. She’s always on a motorcycle or in a convertible automobile, and she’s not dressed in the typical girl’s uniform. Planet Uranus rules Sailor Uranus, who is open-minded, logical, and exceedingly smart. This free-spirited combatant embodies the Aquarian spirit to a tee.

Pisces: Sailor Neptune

Pisces is a true water sign with a laid-back, easygoing, and compassionate personality. They are romantic and artistically inclined. Sailor Neptune is a superb musician as well as a fantastic student. She may exhibit her passionate infatuation with the world while simultaneously demonstrating her intelligence through her work. Pisceans are exquisite, sophisticated dreamers who, in comparison to the other signs, can be a touch guarded.

That concludes our list of Sailor Moon characters based on their astrological signs. It can be difficult to peg some of the supporting characters, but I believe we got it right this time. What did we come up with? Would you make any changes to the characters? Please let us know what you think, and stay tuned for future Sailor Moon Crystal episodes.

What is Usagi’s sign in the zodiac?

Usagi is a Cancer in the cosmos, having been born on June 30. Sailor Moon shares her birthdate with her future daughter in canon. Cancer has a reputation for being a very emotional disease.

What is the personality of Sailor Saturn?

She and Hotaru have opposing personalities. Hotaru Tomoe is a shy, kind-hearted, lonely, and neurotic girl who goes by the name Hotaru Tomoe. She was shocked and delighted to have met and befriended Chibiusa, having never had any real pals. She was increasingly afraid of losing herself in the future, and she battled to keep her evil side in check so that she didn’t damage those she cared about.

Her personality changed dramatically when she became Sailor Saturn. She became more somber, solemn, less empathic, a tad sardonic, and a fan of mayhem and destruction.

However, as a sailor guardian, she is determined to go to any length to safeguard the world from evil-beings, even if it means sacrificing herself.

Is Uranus in a relationship with Sailor Neptune?

Guardian of the Pretty Sailor Moon Eternal: The Movie, which gives ’90s Sailor Moon fans what they’ve always wanted: Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune in all their LGBTQ+ amorous glory, releases on Netflix today. Spoilers ahead, but in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal: The Movie Part 2, all of the Outer Guardians turn up to help rescue the day. But first, we get a glimpse into their glossy personal lives. Yes, Haruka Tenou and Michiru Kaiou, also known as Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, are a couple.

Hardcore Sailor Moon fans are probably not surprised by any of this. Guardian of the Pretty Eternal Sailor Moon: The film is both a continuation of the Sailor Moon Crystal series and an adaptation of the traditional Manga series’ Dream arc. So, of course, Sailor Uranus dresses up as a man and is mistaken for Sailor Neptune’s “lover.” However, as someone who grew up watching the original Sailor Moon anime series on American television, seeing it in 2021 felt revolutionary.

Yes, when Sailor Moon first aired on Cartoon Network’s Toonami, I was one of many millennial females who fell obsessed with the show. I was a nerdy tween at the time, ergo the perfect target audience for Sailor Moon, and I used to watch it every day in the summers with the twins who lived across the street from me. We’d obsess over Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon’s relationship, choose our favorite Sailor Scouts, and scour the dial-up internet for more information on our beloved show. That’s when we realized we weren’t seeing everything there was to see in Japanese anime. The Outer Guardians were added in later seasons, and we only knew about them from Angelfire fan sites. We were instantly perplexed as to why no stories starring the Sailors Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto were being published. (They appeared to be colder, darker, and more edgy than Sailor Moon’s inner circle of cheery pretty gals!) Then we found out that two of them were in a lesbian relationship, and everything made sense in a terrible way.

Although homophobia still exists in our society, the progress accomplished in the previous two decades for LGBTQ+ inclusiveness has been nothing short of astounding. Today’s shows, such as The Baby-sitters Club and Arthur, freely showcase transsexual characters and homosexual weddings to children. Many of the most popular animated programs include openly homosexual characters, and some, like Yuri on Ice, explicitly focus on gay relationships. Even a scent of two girls holding hands and fawning over each other was considered improper for children in the late 1990s. My friends and I realized their love was taboo for Cartoon Network when we learnt that Sailor Uranus wore boy’s attire and that Sailor Neptune was her love. Perhaps the official reason for the absence of those seasons on Toonami was due to licensing issues, but we all knew the truth. To witness them in action, we’d have to wait a long time, if not forever.

I haven’t seen Sailor Moon in a long time, so I’m not sure how often Uranus and Neptune have been seen together on screen. But I was ecstatic when I saw on Netflix that Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal: The Movie Part 2 was offering audiences the people, themes, and emotions that were excluded from my childhood version of Sailor Moon. I’d always hoped the Outer Guardians would join the good fight. Heck, I was hoping for a different relationship to be depicted in the series. All I wanted was to see Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune as themselves on TV! That’s exactly what Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal: The Movie Part 2 accomplishes.

Guardian of the Pretty The Outer Guardians and the gay Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune stuff that was once banned on my youth television are now available in Sailor Moon Eternal: The Movie. And I think it’s fantastic.
