Is there a dragon between Darcy and Tory?
- Sexual Disturbance It’s a toss-up between Darius and Tory! These two have to have the slowest burn of any romance I’ve ever read because we’re three novels in and they haven’t even had their first kiss, but oh man, has it gotten hot between these two! There’s still lots of lively and seductive banter, but there are quieter moments between these two that absolutely indicate they’re the series’ finale. Their sentiments are so muddled and complex, with their apparent mutual desire but also anger because they’re enemies, and the web gets even more complicated when Caleb and Tory are still FWBs on the side…which I’m getting over. Caleb is someone I like a lot, but he’s a large hurdle to overcome right now, and I need more romance with Darius and Tory. The race scene, as well as the one where Tory returns with Darius to see Xavier and the two of them on the beach before everything goes to bad, were all fantastic!
- You are the one who discovers the Twins’ orders! Obviously, I won’t give anything away, but it’s wonderful to have at least one mystery solved after all the doubts regarding the twins’ past and everything else.
- The Romance of Darcy and Orion! While Darius and Tory tussle, Orion and Darcy’s relationship is in full force, and I’m loving it. I’m a sucker for jerks who quietly soften for the person they care about, and I see that in Orion, who is still an asshole in public but shrugs it off when it’s just him and Darcy. And what about that smut I’m supposed to wait for?… Let’s just say that things are finally heating up!
- The Friendship It’s a battle between Darius and Orion! Another intriguing relationship that has little to do with romance and more to do with platonic male friendship! You don’t see it very often in books nowadays, at least not in the ones I’ve read, and I adore their relationship. Darius’s father cursed them with a strange guardian bond, but I love how they make the best of it and even tease each other about it when the bond forces them to embrace or spoon in bed together….yes, these are two straight fae men, one vampire and the other dragon-shifter, but they can at least make the best of a bad situation!

Orion offered her one of his darkest smiles, indicating that he wasn’t her friend at the time. ‘Oh no, I’m not going to do that.’ You can deal with the penalties if you show up to my class drunk.’ ‘CAN’T YOU?!’ he screamed in her ear as he dashed to her side at breakneck speed. It made me flinch, but Tory winced in excruciating pain.”
In Zodiac Academy, who is Gabriel’s wife?
Gabriel Nox is the son of Voldrakian princess Merissa Vega and Voldrakian lad Marcel. His father perished saving his mother during a Voldrakian Marriage Trial, where he was created. Marcel predicted that Gabriel would be the best Seer of his generation because both of his parents were gifted with the Sight. Merissa was to marry the man who killed Marcel at the end of the marriage trial. His existence was concealed once he was born in order to avoid provoking the wrath of the man she intended to marry. Hail Vega grabbed her eye while she was ready for her wedding, and the two began an affair. Hail eventually led her and Gabriel to Solaria, where Gabriel met Hail for the first time. Hail adored him as if he were his own from the time they met. Merissa and Hail married and revealed that Gabriel was an orphan whom they had taken in as a ward. As soon as the genuine Heirs were born, Hail planned to adopt Gabriel. The palace was attacked by Nymphs when Gabriel was seven years old. Ling Astrum was entrusted with Gabriel’s life and swore to King Vega that he would always watch after him but never divulge his true identity. Gabriel’s memories were erased, and Astrum handed him to a couple to raise as their own kid, providing them large sums of money on a regular basis. Ling began sending Gabriel texts under the moniker Falling Star as Gabriel grew older.
What is the relationship between Tory and Darcy?
Tory, born Roxanya, and her twin sister Darcy, born Gwendalina, were born eighteen years before The Awakening to Hail and Melissa Vega, the King and Queen of Solaria. Tory is the older twin, having arrived at the world three minutes and eleven seconds after midnight.
Melissa recognized that her children were in danger before she died, so she sent the twins to the mortal world to grow up as changelings. Melissa grabbed the twins and exchanged them for Darcy and Tory Gomez, mortal twins. Lionel Acrux used Dark Coercion to find out where she and Hail were in the mortal realm just before they died.
Using the information he extracted from Melissa, Lionel tracked down the twins’ changeling family house and set it on fire in an attempt to prevent them from claiming the Throne of Solaria. The twins’ changeling family was slaughtered, but the girls, who were immune to fire thanks to their Order, managed to survive and were discovered among the ashes long after he had left.
The twins were placed in foster care following the fire. They didn’t spend much time in any of the foster homes. Some foster parents claimed they were troublemakers who were difficult to parent, while others claimed they were merely doing it for the money. Tory often believed that because of her challenging personality, she was never embraced by her foster homes. Pete and Darla were their most recent foster placement. Darla left Pete two months before their sixteenth birthday. He was uncaring and harsh. He kicked them out the day before they turned eighteen since he wouldn’t be paid to foster them any longer.
They began renting a small, run-down apartment with no bed and only a pull-out couch. Darcy began buying and selling unwanted stuff from students at her school for a modest profit, while Tory began stealing motorcycles to supplement their income. They barely made enough to get by.
